Banker's
Life Insurance of New York (an Avivia company) is
hosting trips to two wonderful destinations in Spain.
Aviva’s Chairman's Council, which will take
place from April 29 to May 4, 2008, will be in one
of Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities –
Barcelona. Attendees will stay at the Hotel Arts
Barcelona, located in one of Spain's tallest skyscrapers.
The hotel overlooks the 1992 Summer Olympiad's Olympic
Village and offers city-side and water views of
miles of Mediterranean beachfront.
Like
an open-air museum, Barcelona has more than 35,000
shops and a host of attractions like the Tibiado
Amusement and the old harbor area, the Port Vell.
"New Catalan Cuisine," tapas bars, the
nightlife and music, are all on the cutting edge.
The
city's picturesque coastal location, Anton Gaudi's
delightfully cheeky architecture, and galleries
filled with Miro, Tapies and Picasso make Barcelona
visually stunning inside and out.
If
you qualify for The Summit Club, to be held May
4-7, 2008 in Madrid, you will automatically also
qualify for the Barcelona trip. You’will bask
in the luxury and elegance of old world Spain at
Madrid's Westin Palace. This regal 1912 hotel combines
turn-of-the-century grandeur with the new amenities
and high-tech touches of a modern world-class hotel.
Guests can enjoy spa treatments, rooftop views from
a 24-hour fitness center, and conversation under
a stained-glass rotunda dome, an original feature
built for King Alfonso XIII.
In
Madrid you'll find leather goods, gourmet delicatessens,
traditional Spanish products and much more. Situated
in the center of Spain, Madrid is the nation's capital,
and is renowned for cultural and artistic activities
as well as a lively nightlife. The Westin Palace
stands at the very center of the "art Triangle"
connecting the Prado, Thiessen and Reina Sofia museums.
